Meet Anastasia

Experience, creativity and a passion for bringing people together.

My passion for celebrancy began with my own wedding experience and the profound impact a thoughtful celebrant can have on such an important life event.

Since then, I've had the privilege of conducting more than 500 marriage ceremonies and supporting couples through one of life's most meaningful milestones.

Away from weddings, I love a great Queensland outdoor space, a fabulous meal and a DJ who knows what they're doing. And rest easy; my musical taste extends well beyond the classical…

My approach

I listen first.

The simple truth is that every couple is unique. The ingredients are the same: two people who love each other and want to spend their lives together. But the recipe can be completely different.

Whether you're imagining a celebration with all your favourite people or something quiet, intimate and private, I'll take the time to understand what feels right for you. You can share as much or as little of your story as you wish. I'll offer ideas and gentle guidance, shaping a ceremony around your wishes and the things that matter to you both.

The artistic and the practical

A love of words.
An eye for detail.

My background as a former stage singer has shaped the way I approach ceremonies. I have a lifelong appreciation for voice, language and rhythm, and for words that feel authentic to the people saying them.

As an active Justice of the Peace, I bring an eye for detail and practical support that extends beyond your wedding day. Alongside preparing and lodging your marriage paperwork, I can help you navigate the next steps, including paperwork for a change of name after marriage. I'll offer clear guidance and help you feel confident that the details are taken care of.

Everyone is welcome! One of my greatest joys is working with people from different cultures and backgrounds, from all parts of the world. I love helping couples bring their ideas and traditions together, honouring what matters to them in a ceremony.
